East-Indian-Mediterranean Taco
This is a delicious fusion of East-India, Latin America, and Mediterranean ingredients. I am all about the mixture of flavors and textures, and this is a perfect dish for that. First, you need to start with the bases: Naan, "Meat" and condiments. Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: Variable Calories: Approximately 300 calories per taco INGREDIENTS: Naan I got mine from Trader Joes. They are frozen packets of 4 and need to be heated up according to the instructions on the package. If you are not near a trader joe's, you can get pita bread and it should work just fine. "Meat" * I said "meat" in quotation marks because you can use any number of things with this. I used Morning Star's veggie meat substitute, but you can use ground meat of any sort.
